This guidance document has been prepared to provide guidance to facility managers and planners on preparing for and managing outbreaks of influenza-like illness (ILI), including pandemic (H1N1) 2009 in residential facilities (e.g. personal care homes, group homes, women’s shelters, homeless shelters, correctional institutions, and addictions facilities) in remote and isolated communities.
