We are pleased to have Master's student Audrey Yank, from the department of Bioresource Engineering, represent McGill at "Votre Soutenance en 180 secondes" hosted by L’Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas). Acfas is a non-profit organization that contributes to the growth of science in Quebec and within the francophone community.
The competition is inspired by Three minute thesis (3MTMC). Ms. Yank will be giving a three-minute presentation in French about her research topic, titled "À la rescousse des arbres : réduire la déforestation en Afrique de l’Ouest" at the Finals in front of a diverse audience on May 8, 2013.
The competition provides an ideal opportunity to share her valuable research, to perfect her presentation skills, and to network with students across disciplines.
