The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Professor Frédéric Mégret has been named a William Dawson Scholar at McGill University.

McGill’s William Dawson Scholar program recognizes scholars poised to become leaders in their fields and are awarded for a five-year term.

As Dean Daniel Jutras said when he shared the news, “this honour underscores the depth and the quality of Frédéric Mégret’s exceptional scientific work.”

Professor Mégret, who holds the Canada Research Chair in the Law of Human Rights and Legal Pluralism, is also the Faculty’s Associate Dean of Research. Mégret joins the ranks of other William Dawson Scholars at the Faculty, Professor Adelle Blackett and Robert Leckey.

The Faculty of Law congratulates him on this nomination.
