The Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) is
accepting applications for the Elizabeth Paterson International
Student of the Year Award. The International Student of the Year
Award Program asks international students to offer their insights
into the study-in-Canada experience. They must do this by writing a
one-page letter telling family or friends what it's like to study
in Canada, what they see as the advantages of their Canadian
academic career, and their achievements so far.
The International Student of the Year will receive a $500 cash
prize. Honorable mentions will be awarded to two "runners-up" who
will receive prizes of $200 and $100 respectively. The
International Student of the Year and honorable mentions will be
recognized in CBIE publications.
The deadline to submit an application is March 31,
2009.
