Published: 20 April 2015

ECP's Professor Armando Bertone has been appointed a William Dawson Scholar!  The William Dawson Scholar award recognizes a scholar developing into an outstanding and original researcher of world-class caliber who is poised to become a leader in his or her field. Please join us in congratulating him!

Dr. Bertone is a cognitive neuroscientist, a clinical neuropsychologist and the Director of the Perceptual Neuroscience Laboratory (PNLab) for Autism and Development at McGill. It is one of few laboratories in the world specifically interested in assessing perceptual and cognitive processes during typical development, in the autism spectrum and related neurodevelopmental conditions. Among other goals, Dr. Bertone’s research aims at increasing the efficacy of existing cognitive and behavioral interventions in autism by considering perceptual strengths and challenges in this condition at different periods of development.
