DISE Graduate Dr. Ghada Chehade Wins Best Dissertation Award
Congratulations to Faculty of Education PhD graduate Dr. Ghada Chehade on winning the award for Best Dissertation in the Field of Rhetoric, Writing Studies and Discourse Analysis from the Canadian Association for the Study of Discourse and Writing. Ghada is a graduate of the Department of Integrated Studies in Education and a supervisee of Dr. Anthony Paré and Dr. Steve Jordan.
“This award really means a lot to me. The PhD process is a long and arduous one; and it's very nice to have recognition for that process, and to know that people are taking an interest in the topic of the dissertation,” says Ghada.
Ghada’s dissertation “critically examines an important and under-studied dimension of the war on terrorism.” All doctoral and masters theses are published on the Library and Collections website. To read Ghada’s dissertation, search the eScholarhip collection here.
