Dana Gorzelany-Mostak receives the Mark Tucker Award

Dana Gorzelany-Mostak (PhD candidate, musicology) was the recipient the Mark Tucker Award for best student paper at the annual meeting of the Society for American Music for her paper titled, “The Hip-Hop Dalai Lama vs. an American Girl: Soundscapes, Ideology, and American Identity in the 2008 Democratic Primary.”
