CRIC Report and Communique

Colleagues,

The revised versions of the HAL Report on the State of Research Integrity Policies in Canada are attached, as are copies of the communiqué for more general announcement about the release of the report.   

My understanding of the consensus at the meeting on October 6 is that member organizations are responsible for posting the report on their respective websites.   The report can now be posted.

It is my understanding of the meeting on October 6 that broader notification of the release of the report was to be achieved through the distribution of the communiqué which has been prepared with your helpful suggestions.   To achieve the desired broader notification of the release my intention is to send the communiqué to key national media outlets before 300 PM MST tomorrow.  The communiqué states that the report will be available on the websites of member organizations and at www.hal.ca.
