Community of Scholars, COS Funding Opportunities, PapersInvited: Trials until Dec. 24

Find out who shares your research interests in an expertise database of faculty from four-year accredited institutions. The Social Sciences component is already available at McGill via the CSA platform but the Natural Sciences component requires a subscription, hence this trial.

In addition, you can access COS Funding Opportunities, a database which "includes information about deadlines, amount of award, eligibility criteria, and contact information for the sponsoring organization."

We are also trying PapersInvited, a database that allows you to search for conferences and special journal issues. This can be a useful tool if you're trying to get a conference paper and need to find out who organized the conference. The database tells you where papers will be published, if applicable. You can even set up email alerts.
