Classical Studies: Summer Class in Florence, May 2009

CLAS 348 Greek and Roman Topography (Fronda). Special Topic: The Fall of the Republic. Course will examine the changing urban landscapes of Roman Italy in the age of Sulla and Caesar, through the analysis of texts, material evidence, monuments and architecture. Includes visits to museums and sites in Florence, Fiesole, Rome and Pompeii. Interested students should contact Professor Fronda.
