Boy Scouts will honor Buddy Stemple with 2016 Service Award

The 28th Annual Distinguished Community Service Award Dinner is scheduled for Monday, May 2nd, 2016 at 6:30 PM at the Jackson County Armed Forces Reserve Center (Armory) in Millwood.

The proceeds from this dinner go to the Little Kanawha District of the Allohak Council BSA for activities in the District, which includes the Scouting units of Jackson, Roane, Calhoun, and Wirt Counties.

Entertainment for the evening will be Major General James A. Hoyer, Adjutant General of West Virginia Joint Forces Headquarters – West Virginia.

Lloyd A. “Buddy” Stemple, originally from West Virginia earned a B.S. Industrial Engineering and Masters in Business Administration from West Virginia University and a Masters in Practicing Management from McGill University in Montreal.
