New Alouettes president Ray Lalonde showed up Sunday for the opening day of training camp. And, while he addressed the hundreds of spectators on-site, his message was short. While Lalonde looked the part, with his sports jacket and openneck dress shirt, he also was quite interested in watching practice. Intently.
"I've been around football fields and practices a lot. This is nothing new. I'm impressed by our pace and energy," said Lalonde, who served as a graduate assistant at Penn State, and was a former receiver at McGill and Redmen assistant coach.
