The Faculty is pleased to announce that Mtre Ali Martin-Mayer, BSc'98, BCL/LLB'02, has been appointed Assistant Dean, Admissions & Recruitment.

Admissions plays a strategic role in the Faculty of Law, as it is the base for recruiting a diverse student body. "The quality and energy of our students, both undergraduate and graduate, are the Faculty's greatest assets, and the hard work we invest in our admissions process brings the greatest rewards.  Ali Martin-Mayer has all the personal and professional qualities to ensure our continued success in this regard," explained Dean Daniel Jutras.

"I know that she will expertly coordinate the admissions process, as she has over the past few months, and that she will provide wise support to all those who share in it - professors, students and staff," he added.

"What a privilege to be entrusted by the Faculty with this most crucial mandate," said Ali Martin-Mayer. "I hope to draw on my experience in Career Services and in Student Life & Learning to present prospective students with an accurate and cohesive portrait of our Faculty and of what a legal education at McGill truly means."

" I look forward to working with our Admissions dream team and collaborating with my wonderful coworkers at the CDO and Student Affairs Office," added Martin-Mayer. "I am thrilled to rally with colleagues, alumni and students in recruiting and admitting the students who will make Faculty be the best that it can be."
