PROBLEMS OF CLINICAL REASONING: DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

Description of the workshop:

The workshop will begin with a plenary session whereby participants will learn of the different types of situations in clinical reasoning that

are encountered with learners in medical education; followed by in case discussions in a practical session to learn how to help learners overcome these problems.

 

Learning objectives:

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to :

1.         Name 5 types of clinical reasoning problems in medical education and for each type :

2.         Give examples of representative behaviours

3.         Phrase questions that confirm or refute your hypothesis

4.         Be able to propose remediation strategies
