The Gisia Kisilevsky Lectures in Jewish Law: Michael Jay Broyde, professor, Emory University School of Law; projects director, Center for the Study of Law and Religion, Emory; author (The Pursuit of Justice: A Jewish Perspective on Practicing Law (2006), Human Rights and Judaism (1997) and Divorce and the Abandoned Wife in Jewish Law (2001). He is also a dayan (judge) on the Beth Din of America, the leading rabbinical court in the United States.
