Tree Tour - Spring Trees and Flowers: from McGill to Mount Royal

Sunday, May 16, 2010 11:00to15:00
Redpath Museum 859 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 0C4, CA

Nothing beats the beauty of the maple-hickory forest in spring. Trilliums, trout lillies, striped maple and elderberry are but a few of the 40 species of flowers, trees and bushes we will meet on this walk. We begin with the native trees on the McGill campus and continue in the forest of the piedmont (northeast flanc) of Mount Royal.

We will be walking from the Redpath Museum to the George-Étienne Cartier monument. Please bring a pencil, lunch and lots of water. Bilingual.

$15/person
