The Government of Japan is looking for professionals to enhance intercultural communites throughout Japan and is offering two separate sessions regarding the JET Program.

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is a Japanese government-sponsored exchange programme promoting international understanding.

Each year, the JET Programme offers thousands of young graduates and professionals the opportunity to work full-time as either Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) in public schools, or Coordinators for International Relations (CIRs) in local government offices. From thriving urban centres to isolated islands, JETs are working at the heart of local communities throughout Japan. If you have always been curious about Japan, are passionate about education and culture, and are ready for work experience abroad, then the JET Programme is for you.

  • Oct 21 – 2:30 - 4:30 – Info Session - Brown 5001
  • Oct 31 – 12:00 - 1:00 – Application Clinic – Brown 5001
  • Nov 18 – deadline to apply
