TAG Party | Environmental Research

Thursday, December 6, 2012 17:00to19:00
Faculty Club 3450 rue McTavish, Montreal, QC, H3A 0E5, CA

What is a TAG party?

It works like this:

  1. Everyone wears a nameTAG with key words describing their interests related to the environment (e.g. sustainability, GIS, models, parasitology, ethics, social construction, invasive species, water quality, landscape, boreal forests--make it as detailed or as general as you like), and then we drink, eat and talk. Instead of a name, your name becomes a keyword tag cloud or a word cloud for your name tag. You can compose it when you arrive or feel free to create one by feeding one of your articles or your home page into wordle.net.
  2. Before the event, you TAG others who may be interested by forwarding this message to them.

GOALS: Identify researchers around the university who could collaborate on research and/or co-design courses/programs in environment related topics.

Beer and wine and hors d'oeurves will be served!
