Paul Otlet, the founding father of documentation, invented microfilm, invented the index card catalog, inspired the League of Nations, and invented an analogue precursor to today's digital Internet. He collected and cataloged as much of the world's bibliographic knowledge as he could and then cross-indexed it. At his peak he had 17 million index cards, linked together by something like hypertext. This documentary shines a light on an inventor and visionary who has for too long been forgotten.
