You are invited to participate in the first Entrepreneurial Leadership Speaker Series of 2016, featuring guest speaker Andrea Courey, Founder and former president, Grandma Emily's Granola. Special presentations by student start-ups will also be feaured.

Andrea Courey is the founder of Grandma Emily’s Granola.  Starting out of her home kitchen in 1997, Andrea bootstrapped her business into reality with determination, deliberate thinking and no debt - while raising three children on her own.

Since 2005, Andrea has been offering insights to groups, big and small, about how to grow a business from scratch and to not only survive but thrive in the process.  She was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2007 and McGill Dobson Fellow in 2009 for her work with students.

In 2015, Andrea sold the company and is now writing, lecturing, mentoring, and travelling.


Everyone is welcome to attend, but registration is required.
