The Friends of the Library and Making Publics Project have the pleasure in presenting the Shakespeare Lecture for 2009, From Page to Stage: Shakespeare the Director, featuring Albert Schultz, actor, director, and founding artistic director of Toronto’s Soulpepper Theatre Company.
Everyone knows that Shakespeare was a wonderful writer. He was also, we know, an actor. Shakespearean director, actor and enthusiast Albert Schultz will use the text of Romeo and Juliet to show how Shakespeare was also a director.
