Homeschooling can allow parents to appropriate the process of learning and in so doing, develop deep educational and personal relationships with their children. Equally relevant to those following a curriculum, unit-studies or an unschooling approach, this workshop will appeal to both home-educating parents of younger children and older adolescents interested in taking charge of their own record-keeping. In this interactive 3-hour workshop, participants will explore the messiness of learning, learn tips about cataloguing the homeschooler’s educational experience, reflect on the ways to create their homeschooler’s educational process using a variety of tools provided and engage in open discussion about the important aspects of learning at home.
