National Capital Dragon Boat Race Festival

This two-day event is part of a larger Chinese cultural tradition that goes back 2,400 years. A dragon boat is a slim racer that holds 20 paddlers, one drummer and one steerperson. Registration includes entry fees, equipment rentals and two coached practice sessions on the boats. The McGill Young Alumni of Ottawa has entered a team for the last three years. $45
