The Library at Nineveh was the Royal Library of Ashurbanipal, the last great Assyrian king. This illustrated lecture draws attention to a collection of thousands of clay tablets and fragments containing texts of all kinds from the 7th century BC. One of these is the famous “Epic of Gilgamesh.”
