As part of the 2014-2015 Constitutional Moments, the Regroupement Droit, Changements et Gouvernance (RDCG) is delighted to present The Legal Structure of Ecclesiastical Polity. Une enquête comparative with Víctor M. Muñiz-Fraticelli, Associate Professor of Law and Political Science at McGill University, as speaker, and Jaye Ellis, Associate Professor of Law at McGill University, as respondent.

About the speaker

Víctor M. Muñiz-Fraticelli, a Full Member of the Regroupement Droit, changements et gouvernance, is Associate Professor of Law and Political Science at McGill University. He received his PhD in Political Science from the University of Chicago, and his JD from the University of Puerto Rico, and also clerked at the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. His recent book, The Structure of Pluralism (Oxford 2014), gives an account of the authority of associations continuous with the British Pluralist tradition but regrounded on legal positivism and current theories of group agency. His current research is on the structure of ecclesiastical polities in the modern state.
About the respondent

Jaye Ellis, a Full Member of the Regroupement Droit, changements et gouvernance, is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, at McGill University. She is co-organisator of the 2014-2015 Constitutional Moments.
