Legal Spaces: Annual conference of the International Roundtable for the Semiotics of Law

Friday, April 15, 2005toSaturday, April 16, 2005
Chancellor Day Hall 3644 rue Peel, Montreal, QC, H3A 1W9, CA
Canada is hosting this conference for the first time. The participants, an eclectic, international and trans-disciplinary group of thinkers around law, semiotics, representation and culture, will discuss the spaces that make up their world: what are the laws that construct those spaces, what are the semiotics that enrich, articulate and encounter resistance to them. To book a place or submit an abstract, contact Prof. Desmond Manderson. An initiative of the Canada Research Chair in Law and Discourse.
