Benoît Melançon teaches French and Québec literature at the
Université de Montréal. He has published books about letter writing
in Eighteenth-Century France, language issues in Québec, e-mail and
Bangkok.
His book Les Yeux de Maurice Richard has been translated under the
title The Rocket. A Cultural History of Maurice Richard. He is a
fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.
