The Agri-Food business represents a major global industry and is continuing to grow, with the development and trading of new food products, and the utilization of agricultural commodities from all corners of the world, in order to meet the food demands of consumers and a growing world population.  In light of globalization, the competitiveness of the agri-food industry lies in innovation and the development of technologies that can be rapidly brought to market.

Students from the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences who receive additional training and experience in entrepreneurship and innovation are going to be well positioned to take on leadership roles in Agri-Food enterprises.

You are invited to participate in the Macdonald Leadership and Innovation Forum where you can join distinguished agribusiness leaders in discussions on the opportunities that are emerging and entrepreneurial skills that will be required to lead successful careers in innovation in the agri-food industry.

This Forum is made possible thanks to support of the Brown-Martlet Funding Committee, Anne Myles and the late Stewart Brown.
