InfoNexus is an annual conference organized by students of the McGill School of Information Studies which aims to bring students and information professionals together to hear engaging talks, exchange ideas, and make connections. InfoNexus embraces the multidisciplinary nature of information studies—speakers from previous years have addressed such topics as search engine optimization and online reputation, learning to code, creating digital spaces, bibliometrics and film theory, and information access in environmental law.

InfoNexus aims to inspire participants to collaborate on innovative projects and cultivate the dynamic community of information specialists.

Among others, this year's guest speakers will include:

  • Anton Stiglic - Chief Information Security Officer at Loto-Québec
  • Ed Bilodeau - McGill University Digital Initiatives; President of the SLA Eastern Canada Chapter
  • Jean Archambault - Director, Information and Analysis Services, Knowledge Management Branch of the National Research Council Canada
