"Indigenizing the Social Work curriculum" - Presentation and discussion with Gord Bruyère, MSW

We are delighted to welcome Gord Bruyere, MSW, Departmental Coordinator, Social Work BSW Program at the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology, B.C., to the School of Social Work. Gord is part of our curriculum working group and will also make a short presentation and lead an informal discussion. Gord has taught in a number of Aboriginal BSW programs in the West of Canada and has published a range of articles and book chapters, mainly on the topic of indigenizing social work curriculum. We look forward to seeing as many colleagues and students as possible at this event.
