HSK (Chinese Language Proficiency Test)

HSK is the standarized test of Chinese language proficiency for speakers whose first language is not Chinese (Mandarin), and is recognized by the Chinese government, Chinese universities, international organizations, foreign firms in China, as well as foreign embassies to China. Registration fees: Beginners $30; Elementary-Intermediate $40; Advanced $50. Registration forms can be downloaded from EAS website or picked up at Dept of East Asian Studies. Registration deadline: October 20.
