Funding opportunities changes at SSHRC

Session 1:
Part A: SSHRC: Program Architecture Renewal
Part B: SSRHC: The Adjudication Process

The first part of this information session will outline the changes at SSHRC in terms of their funding opportunities. The purpose of this session is to provide some context for researchers intending to apply for the new Insight Grants in October (a sort of replacement of the Standard Research Grant), Insight Development Grants (for research in its initial stages) and Partnership Grants

The second part of this session will provide some insight regarding the intricacies of the adjudication process at SSHRC. Although SSHRC’s evaluation criteria are published on their website, the internal procedures are not outlined. The purpose of this session is to provide researchers with more information on how the process works so as to maximise the chances of their proposal being funded.
