Freaky Fridays - Life on ice: The Arctic, Antarctic and Mars

Dr. Dale Andersen, McGill grad (PhD'04) and Principal Investigator, SETI Institute's Center for the Study of Life in the Universe. This Freaky Friday, co-hosted by the Trottier Symposium, starts with the film "The Thing from Another World" (original 1951 version). Dr. Andersen will cover research that he and other SETI Institute members have conducted in the McMurdo Dry Valleys and Bunger Hills, Antarctica, and ongoing research in the Canadian High Arctic (Axel Heiberg and Ellesmere Islands). The research is all related to the search for Earth's earliest biosphere, and the search for life on Mars. Free admission
