Event
The overarching goal of this two‐day seminar is to enable teams to coach each other through the implementation of powerful teaching strategies. Priority will be given to team registrations (at least 2) although individual registrations will be accepted. Pairs of colleagues will obviously benefit most by experiencing being a coach and being coached.
On December 3, Dr. Barrie Bennett will present Day 1 of this two-day seminar. Through the seminar, he will show attendees how mind mind maps, word webs, fish bone diagrams, venn diagrams, cross sectional diagrams and concept attainment data sets can be used to summarize a unit of study and push literacy and assess ‘of’ ‘for’ and ‘as’ learning. In addition, attendees will learn how to guide their students to “play” at more precisely implementing avariety of graphic organizers and integrate 2 or more graphic organizers suchas PMI and Six Thinking Hats at the same time.
