Dobson Cup Phase 3
WHAT?
The Dobson Cup is an exceptional and rare opportunity for budding
entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to seasoned business
experts for feedback and win start-up money.
WHO?
The competition is open to anyone with new business ideas and for
not-for-profit startups. Teams include one to five members; at
least one team member must be a McGill University student, employee
or alumnus. Submissions requiring confidentiality agreements will
not be accepted.
WHY?
Participants will compete for prize money and prestige, as well as
benefit from an exclusive opportunity to present their ideas to a
panel of experienced and successful entrepreneurs.
HOW?
The judges consist of Dobson Fellows, McGill faculty and
entrepreneurs. Judging will focus on innovativeness, feasibility
and growth potential, as presented by the teams.
May 10, 2013: Final business plan submission via e-mail (15-page limit).
May 10, 2013: Qualifying teams present draft business plan to judges (10 minutes).
Winners will be announced June 6, 2013.
