Guy C. Hachey has been Chief Executive Officer, President and Head of Plane & Train Maker's Aircraft Division of Bombardier Aerospace Inc., since May 12, 2008. Mr. Hachey has been President and Chief Operations Officer of Bombardier Aerospace Inc. of Bombardier Inc. since April 2008.
He served as President of Delphi Europe Middle East & Africa and Delphi Powertrain Systems of Delphi Corp. from July 2006 to April 2008 and Delphi Steering Systems. Mr. Hachey served as Vice President of Delphi Corp. from 1998 to April 2008. He served as Vice President of Delphi Steering Systems. He served as President of Delphi Energy and Chassis Systems of Delphi Corp. since January 2000. He served as President of Delphi Chassis Systems since November 1998 and General Manager of Delphi Chassis Systems since August 1998. He served as Manufacturing Manager, Worldwide Operations, for the former Delphi Interior & Lighting Systems since 1995. From 1994 to 1995, he served as Director of Manufacturing Operations of Delphi Automotive Systems. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Hachey served as director of Manufacturing Operations for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning/heat exchangers business unit of what is now Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems.
Mr. Hachey joined General Motors (GM) in 1978 as a college graduate-in-training at GM of Canada's Ste. Therese, Quebec, assembly facility. During his career at Ste. Therese, he was supervisor and general supervisor of production, area manager of trim assembly, Director of manufacturing engineering and General Superintendent of manufacturing. Since July 1989, he served as Plant Manager of the Oshawa fabrication plant. Mr. Hachey served as Production Manager of Oshawa's car-assembly plants. He serves as a Director of The Michigan Manufacturers Association. He serves as Member of Strategy Board of Delphi Steering Systems. He served as Member of Strategy Board of Delphi Corp. until April 2008. He also serves as the executive champion for the Peugeot Societe par Actions (PSA), DaimlerChrysler Car & Truck and Volvo Trucks/Renault Vehicules Industriels (RVI) customer accounts.
Mr. Hachey attended St. Jean Military College from 1973 to 1976, receiving several academic, athletic and leadership awards. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from McGill University, Montreal, in 1978 and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Concordia University, Montreal, in 1984. Mr. Hachey completed the Tuck Executive Development Program at Dartmouth in 1994.
