Gradually, more Tri-Council (NSERC, SSHRC, CIHR) funding opportunities are starting to require the Canadian Common CV (CCV) as part of the application. In addition, a new version of the CCV was released in the summer of 2012.
What this means for researchers is that:
1) some will be creating a CCV for the first time and
2) some will be migrating from the old CCV to the new one.
Both situations can prove to be very time-consuming. In order to ensure that researchers’ time is used as efficiently as possible during the application process, OFFERING will be holding a workshop that will go over the requirements, steps to follow, and address potential migration issues. Researchers are encouraged to attend (with their laptop computers, if possible). Questions, both general and specific to your situation, will be most welcome.
