Having a mentor through the BCom program has been very beneficial to me, particularly during my U2 year. The mentoring program at Desautels did an excellent job in matching me with a mentor who is operation in the industry that I am preparing myself to work in. Through this program, I was able to learn more in-depth information regarding the path, recruitment process, corporate culture, and lifestyle for my future career. Having a BCom alumnus as a mentor allows you to quickly establish a working relationship that is very valuable.
