Architecture and Opera

Lecturer: Rory O’Sullivan
Time: February 28, 1:00 p.m.
Room 1041

The architecture of opera houses varies as greatly as opera itself, ranging in design from baroque to contemporary. This illustrated talk will examine how the design affects the building, also the singers, the orchestra, the music, with perhaps a few examples, and, of course, the audience.
