Archaeology in the ‘Vallée des Forts

Wednesday, July 22, 2015 13:00
Presenter: Andrew R. Beaupré (guest lecturer)
The Richelieu River Valley, the ‘Vallée des Forts’, is a strip of land, a mere 120 kilometers long, yet the events that took place in this little valley have given rise to the modern province of Québec, the states of Vermont and New York and their corresponding countries. Archaeologist Andrew Beaupré will be your guide through 300 years of history informed by recent archaeological excavations in the ‘Vallée des Forts.’
