Attention Graduate Students: Share how your thesis research can change the world!

McGill’s Office of Sustainability, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, and the Post-Graduate Students Society,  is hosting Three Minutes to Change the World at noon on March 21st, 2013.

Three Minutes to Change the World is a TED-talk style event featuring McGill graduate students giving three-minute presentations about their research initiatives and their impact on the community. It takes all kinds of knowledge to change the world— thesis research from all disciplines is  welcome!

This is a great opportunity to share your valuable research with your peers and the general public, perfect your elevator pitch and presentation skills, as well as learn more about the contributions and diversity of McGill’s graduate research. Successful applicants will receive in-depth coaching prior to the event to help you concisely and clearly articulate your ideas, interests, and knowledge.

Submission deadline: February 20, 2013

Proposals will be accepted in the form of 250 word research summaries or one minute video introductions in either English or French

French participants may also be eligible to compete in Votre soutenance en 180 secondes
