Speaker: Carolyn Samuel, McGill University
Carolyn teaches English for Academic Purposes (oral and written) at McGill University. She has designed and taught courses for both graduate and undergraduate students, among them, a course on oral communication skills for effective dissemination of one’s research. In an effort to promote sound and innovative teaching/learning practices at the university, Carolyn works closely with McGill’s Teaching and Learning Services (TLS). She is a recipient of McGill’s Principal's Prize for Excellence in Teaching and has given over 70 academic presentations in the last 10 years.
