43rd Annual Workshop on Commercial & Consumer Law

This year, the 2013 Annual Workshop on Commercial & Consumer Law will be taking place at McGill's Faculty of Law.

Established by Professor Emeritus Jacob Ziegel (U. Toronto), this long-running Workshop is the only academic business law conference regularly held in Canada. It is designed to keep legal scholars abreast of current developments in the commercial and consumer law areas.

This year's program will offer eight panels, which have attracted a distinguished roster of presenters from across the country, and which will be chaired by legal practitioners, faculty members and several eminent members of the judiciary.

Our keynote address will be given by former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, the Honourable Marie Deschamps.

Registration

Your registration fee includes access to electronic copies of all submitted papers and presentations, the Friday cocktail and dinner, a buffet lunch on Saturday and other light refreshments during the breaks.

$200 for non-academics
$100 for full-time academics *
$25 for students (does not include the cocktail & dinner)

This activity is accredited by the Barreau du Québec for 8 hours and 45 minutes of Continuing Legal Education (activity no. 10075941).

* Up to five full-time faculty members of sponsoring law faculties are exempted from paying the registration fee. The following faculties have confirmed their support for 2013: Manitoba, McGill, Osgoode Hall, Western. This list will be updated as further sponsorship confirmations are received.
