Rebecca Braun currently holds a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies, University of Liverpool, UK. She has published widely on Günter Grass: the monograph Constructing Authorship in the Work of Günter Grass (Oxford: OUP, 2008), the edited volume (with Frank Brunssen) Changing the Nation: Günter Grass in International Perspective (Würzburg: Königshausen & Neumann 2008), and various articles and chapters in English and German books. Dr. Braun co-organised the July 2008 Women in German Studies 20th anniversary conference "Impact: German-language culture and its reception," and is currently editing an expanded volume of essays based on this event. She is also preparing a book on German authors and the media from 1960 to the present.
