Montreal and McGill named on Business Insider top-50 list
Business insider has published a list of the cities with the world’s top-50 universities according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings. Included on the list are Montreal and McGill University, thanks to Montreal’s quality of life, the Underground City, the festivals, the Biodome, the botanical garden and various other niceties. As for McGill, the piece credits the school’s reputation as a leading research institution and its social sciences department as major factors. Though the list is based on the THE rankings, it considers the cities as well as the schools for an unranked roundup rather than a graded list.
