Evolutionary games in branching populations.

We study a multi-type model where the reproduction rate for each type is determined by the average payoff of a game in his generation and a carrying capacity. We show that the process survives for an exponential time in the carrying capacity. We study its quasi-stationary distribution and relate it to the equilibrium dynamics of the game. This is based on ongoing work with Alex McAvoy and Martin Nowak.
