KILLAM RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

Fellowships are offered on a competitive basis to support distinguished Canadian researchers, normally full professors in Canadian universities, in any of the following broad fields: humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, health sciences, engineering and studies linking any of the disciplines within these broad fields. Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada may hold the Fellowships. The Fellowships provide two years of full release from teaching and administrative duties. The fellowship funds are paid to the university or research institute to relieve the fellow of all teaching and administrative responsibilities while continuing to pay the fellow’s full salary and benefits during the entire period of the fellowship.
