Cystic Fibrosis Research day

This event is jointly organized by Shinerama McGill, McGill Cystic Fibrosis Translational Research Centre (CFTRc), and Cystic Fibrosis Canada, and the Pre-med Coop.

The goal of the event is to showcase the research done by students towards improving our understanding of cystic fibrosis as well as finding new treatments for the disease.

Everyone is welcome to attend the event. All students who do work related to cystic fibrosis are invited to come present their work as a Powerpoint presentation or a poster presentation.

If you would like to present, please submit an abstract and indicate whether you would like to do a powerpoint presentation or a poster. The deadline to submit your abstract is 11:59pm Wednesday, April 25. We will notify whether your abstract has been selected by Sunday, April 29.

Outline of the event:
9:00am – 9:15am Opening remarks from CFTRc
9:20am – 10:15am Guest presenter from Cystic Fibrosis Canada
10:20am – 11:55am 5 x Student presentations (15min talk + 5min Q&A)
12:00pm – 1:00pm Poster session in the lobby area (over light snacks)
