The McGill Martlets and Redmen varsity soccer teams will host cross-town rival Concordia in their respective home-openers on Friday (Sept. 16) at Percival Molson Stadium. Both games are slated to be webcast on SSN (www.ssncanada.ca/games), with the women's contest slated for 6:30 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8:30 p.m.

Claire, Que., and Redmen swim coach Peter Carpenter, are among six McGillians selected to represent Canada at the World University Summer Games in China, Aug. 12-23. Other McGill students named include Olivier Babineau (soccer) of Moncton, Simon Rousseau (archery) of La Prairie, Que., Whitney Genoway and Jenna Crook, a pair of water polo players from Regina.
