Winter term registration period for new students in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (including Farm Management and Technology), Arts (including School of Social Work), B.A.&Sc., Education, Engineering (including Architecture), Graduate Studies, Law, Management, Music, Nursing, Religious Studies and Science.

New students can obtain their ID cards once they have registered. The locations and operating hours of ID card centres on both campuses can be found on the Student Information website (www.mcgill.ca/students). Students must be registered for at least one Fall term course, and need to bring their McGill ID number, valid photo ID, and the documents used to prove citizenship status.

Last day of lectures in courses in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Arts (including School of Social Work), Continuing Studies, Education (except for 1st year students in Kind. & Elem. & Sec.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S. Administrative offices will be closed between December 25 and January 2 inclusive. Library hours available at Reference Desks. Administrative offices reopen on Friday, January 3.

Last day for NUTR 510, Professional Practice-Stage 4 (Dietetics).

Deadline to apply to graduate on Minerva for all undergraduate students and graduate students in all non-thesis programs (certificates, diplomas, Master's non-thesis) who expect to complete their program requirements at the end of the Fall 2013 term (February 2014 graduation).

NOTE: For those students able to change program information via curriculum change on Minvera, last day to make changes for the Fall term.

Registration period for Winter courses offered by Continuing Studies to students in other faculties (excludes students in Dentistry, Law, Management day programs, Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy).

Deadline for inter-faculty transfer applications to Bachelor of Science (Nursing) program for the Winter 2014 term via Minerva. (Excluded U0 students). See Nursing website below:

Deadline date to submit initial Doctoral or Master's thesis to GPS (Thesis Office) to be registered as Thesis Evaluation status for the Winter 2014 term.

Deadline date to submit final Doctoral or Master's e-thesis for students expecting to graduate in February 2014.

Note: Should the deadline date (December 15) fall on a weekend or a holiday, the effective deadline date will be the previous working day.

Application period for eligibility for guaranteed consideration for admission in September to departments in Graduate Studies. Please verify these dates with individual departments or on the web at http://www.mcgill.ca/gradapplicants/programs.

NOTE: The Schulich School of Music has an earlier application deadline date of December 1.
